Suggested Bible Reading: Romans 14
Devotional Thought:
“For none of us liveth to himself and no man dieth unto himself… so then every one of us shall give account of himself unto the Lord. Let us not therefore judge one another any more…” It is a test of humility to be gracious when we disagree with a fellow believer. It is a manifestation of pride to boast judgment upon them. This passage is talking about not being a stumbling block to other Christians. The strong Christian limits his liberty to expand his ministry, and the weak Christian is warned not to make mountains out of molehills. Remember the same Christian can be weak in some areas of the Christian life while being strong in others. You and I are not one or the other!
Prayer:
• Lord, help me to be honest about my true spiritual condition in every area of the Christian life.
• Am I willing to limit my liberty to expand my ministry opportunities where I am strong?
• Am I making mountains out of molehills where I am weak?
• Lord, help me to be as honest today as I will have to be on judgment day.
