We want to look at the wonderful song of praise that Mary sang to her Lord after it was revealed to her that she would give birth to our Savior. In her meditations, we find the embedded truths that help us to understand the heart of the Christmas season. As we head into another year, may we embrace the same heart as Mary and magnify the Lord in 2018. In our text this morning, Mary was careful to exalt the Lord, examine herself, and elevate her joy as she prayed in admiration to the Lord.
