God is always looking for people to willingly submit their wills to do the will of God for their lives. It is no secret that God is all-powerful, but He has chosen to limit Himself to the decisions of man. God has given man a free will to decide. 2 Peter 3:9 says that “God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” God wants everyone to receive His gift of salvation, but He will not force anyone against his will. You and I make our own decisions regarding the truth that God has revealed. We make a decision about accepting or rejecting the gift of salvation and once we are saved we make the decision to obey the Bible or to disobey it. God will not force you to faithfully serve Him and accomplish the will of God for your life. He desires that we would willingly volunteer to surrender to the control of the Holy Spirit.
