November 11, 2011, I was a candidate for the pastorate of Faith Baptist Church. I remember wanting to preach a “sugarstick” message (a message I had preached many times before). However, God led me to preach on this passage. Quite frankly I do not remember much about that specific message, but I do believe the truth is still relevant to our church today. Do you want 2019 to be a year of spiritual growth? What are you doing to make it different? What decisions are you making that will directly impact your decisions for this upcoming year? Today, I want to motivate all of us to move on to another level in our spiritual maturity. I believe we, as a church, are ready to move on to what God has in store for us.
