James Maxwell states in one of his books, “we either tell our money where to go, or we will wonder where it went.” Too many people today are buying into a world’s philosophy that undermines God’s intended purpose for money. Money makes a wonderful servant, but it makes a terrible master; however, many Christians today are serving money rather than using it as their servant to do God’s bidding. This week, I want to give to you some basic money principles that Jesus taught concerning the use of money, and expose some lies that is permeating our society and paralyzing Christians. God’s plan for the church is that everyone should do his part. We do not need to worry about whether or not everyone else is doing what he should for God, but rather we must be honest with our own stewardship. Are you a faithful steward of God’s resources?
