Because Jesus Christ is always the same, and therefore a tremendous foundation for our faith, we must not let what we have in Christ slip. Salvation is by faith in the person of Jesus Christ and without Him coming to earth and paying the price of our sin; we could not escape the just recompense of our transgression. It was an act of grace and mercy that Christ would lower Himself to the status of human, in order to purchase our redemption. Our Savior came to satisfy the purpose of God, to unify with the people of God, and to sympathize with the people of God. Death passed upon all men, because they were sinners. However, Jesus Christ never sinned and therefore, was not under the curse of mortality. Jesus Christ died because He laid down His life making salvation available to all who will believe on Him.
