I am fearful that many Christians do not pray in faith believing. It seems that most pray to God hoping. Nehemiah is a wonderful example of praying to God, knowing that God would do what is right. Nehemiah acknowledges his inability to do the task without God, and cries unto the Lord for help. Nehemiah knew it was God’s will to rebuild the walls, but he wanted God to know he was volunteering to lead the effort. How do we develop such a prayer life in our lives? How can we grow from hoping God hears to believing He has heard? Here in this text we find the answer by looking at the prayer of Nehemiah and his subsequent behavior.
