The one thing every Christian needs to fight is the selfishness of our flesh and our independent spirit. We tend to want things our way, on our time, and for our good. Jesus Christ came to earth to teach us the importance of doing the will of God, denying ourselves, and meeting the needs of others. Christmas is a time of exalting Christ while we serve others. It is a time of demonstrating our love for God as we share it with others. Unfortunately, we have allowed our world to influence us more than we would like to admit.
