Two weeks ago we looked at the fact that rather than fight the Church, marriage, or home, the Devil would rather join them. God clearly commands the Christian to be separate from the world and its selfish worldview. However, we are not to be isolated from the world, but rather we are to be salt and light to them. Today I want us to see that the three institutions that God created (the family, government, and church) are to function under God and His authority and from a biblical worldview. Our “rights” or authority to function comes from the word of God and is a product of the sovereign plan of God. Therefore, we must be distinctly different from what the world teaches or models.
