In Acts 13:2, the Bible says, “…separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” It is the local churches responsibility to recognize and send forth those who God has called to the mission field. It is a joy this morning to have the Crawfords with us. I am excited about the call of God upon this couple’s lives and the impact that they will make for Christ. What a privilege it is to be part of a church that understands and embraces the opportunity to partner with God for worldwide evangelism. May we be constantly reminded that each of us have a responsibility to reach the lost around us and to participate in God’s program for reaching the world. “The harvest truly is plenteous, but he laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)
