There is a distinct danger of a second generation losing sight of the battles and struggles that formed the positions of the first generation. What is deemed as the fervor of our grandparents, became simple formalism to our parents and has become our generation’s apathy. We are living in a day where we need preachers, but often we simply turn out politicians. We need Spirit filled power, but often we only see human filled pride. I am concerned that we are having less and less people going into the ministry and less and less people going to the mission field. I believe our nation is in need of revival and revival comes from a sensitivity and surrender to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
