Pastor’s Bible Reading Schedule:
Exodus 25-27
Key Thought:
God had one main purpose for building the Tabernacle, that He might dwell in a very special way among His people. The word “sanctuary” means a holy place, a hallowed place, a place sanctified or set apart for God. God wanted the Tabernacle to be a holy, hallowed place…
- a place sanctified or set apart for God
- a place where God could live in a special way among His people
- a place where God met with people and people with God
- a place where people worshipped God, received the forgiveness of God, and committed their lives to God
It is important to remember that God took the initiative to build a relationship with Israel, just as He took the intuitive to have a relationship with us. God longs to be with His people, to fellowship and commune with them. This is good news for us. God, in this dispensation, still desires to be among His people. As born-again Christians, we have God dwelling within us in the Person of the Holy Spirit. God still wants to commune with us, fellowship with us, as we live holy, set apart lives for the glory of God.
