Pastor’s Bible Reading Schedule:
Leviticus 8-10
Key Thought:
The lesson that our reading teaches us today is to trust the Lord with all our heart. (Prov. 3:5-7) As a royal priesthood in Christ, we are called to a higher standard as we serve the Lord with gladness and come before His presence with singing. We must stand against the evil of our day, and demonstrate the righteousness of God. As we serve the Lord, we must always remember that He is more concerned with our maturity, than He is about our being comfortable.
Too many believers act like complaining, spoiled brats. We sit back complaining about our lot in life and the heavy burden of God’s call on our lives and see God’s hand as a massive weight of expectations holding us down. And guess what? This will continue to be a heavy burden until we open our eyes and discover that God’s word and regulations are designed to be the wind of the Spirit to launch us to a new level of maturity in our walk with God. Aaron and his family were the beginning of a heritage of servants and priests, a group to which we belong as a Christian. God has great things in store for those who are obedient to His call.
