“Everyone Can Do Something”
The Faith Promise Missions Conference is quickly approaching. This year’s theme is “Everyone Can Do Something.” Have you been praying about what God would entrust to you this year if you promise to give it to missions? God’s program in this dispensation is to reach the world through local churches. Faith Baptist Church is committed to reaching the world by offering each person the opportunity to participate in our Faith Promise program. How much longer we have to reach the world remains to be seen, but could be very short.
II Corinthians 8:3-4 says,
For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
November 6-9 our hearts will be challenged with the opportunity to reach souls around the world. It will be our privilege to entrust Godly men and women with gifts which they can use to reach lost souls and strengthen Christians. November 13 we will collect our Faith Promise commitment cards. Our missions potential is directly correlated to the amount that is promised from our people, from the cards collected.
Throughout the conference you will have the opportunity to serve either in our nursery, wee walkers, toddlers, and meals. The international dinner will be on Sunday evening. Please sign up on the bulletin board for either Italian, Mexican, Asian or American food. Let’s work together to make this year’s conference very successful. Will you please commit to praying, attending, serving and giving? I believe we can have 100% participation because “Everyone Can Do Something”.
Please call Michelle Berlin if you can help serve during missions conference. It is a privilege to pastor such a mature, loving and gracious people. I love you all so much!
