It is almost time for our annual Band, Strings, and Choral Camp, as well as our Children’s Chorus Camp. We are looking forward to an exciting, fun-filled week of learning and growing musically. Scroll down for a description of both programs.
BAND & CHORAL CAMP
This day camp is meant to develop musical excellence in young musicians from local churches and schools. We seek to provide high quality instruction from well-trained, highly skilled, and very experienced instructors who are passionate about developing future musicians.
This camp is for students that are at least in the 5th grade. Whether they are starting an instrument in the coming school year, or if they have been playing for several years, our instructors will provide the appropriate next steps to strengthen and stretch them.
To accommodate a number of string players in our ministry, we are excited to add a string track to our camp this year. And, as always, each instrumentalist will take part in our camp choir to round out their musical experience.
Here are a couple comments from parents regarding last year’s camp:
“These instructors have changed the way I think about musicians. They are both incredibly gifted and down to earth. I loved being around them.”
“Knowing how many band players were brand new to their instruments, I was completely blown away by the final concert. This week far exceeded my expectations in how much a student could grow in one week!”
